Cruise ships approach the port
...tourists can't wait to resort
Straw vendors and hair braiders in place
..await customers to embrace

Merchants anticipate along the bay
...too they wait to earn their pay
Tourists from ships now free to roam
...taxi and surrey drivers are first to zoom

Walk, ride or drive - the city bustles
...as the day ends so does the hustle
Tomorrow some ships depart
...others come in looking smart

Leaving behind happy faces
...cruise ships in good graces!

Creatures of day, and night roam my backyard
It's a soulfully happy sight - not sad
Heaven's kind and splendorous offerings
...the butterflies are elegantly fine
...the birds sumptuously dine
...the lizards majestically climb
...the bees sublimely mime
...the wasps delightfully bind
...the ants gracefully realign
...the cats pass shyly from time to time
...the dogs quickly sneak to release their slime
...the snakes say, 'the tasty rodents are mine'

The blessed generation lives

...in honored offspring of blood rewarding

First, second, third and more cousins

...a brilliantly big family fruitfully expands

Children of aunts and uncles impressive

...grandparents gladly welcome the newborns

Cousins of happy memories galore

...no complaints about good kinfolks for sure

Who’s having a baby this year?

...only time will truly reveal

Boys and girls of the glorious lot

...budding contentedly in noble virtue

Durable family structure of upright foundation

...with new members on arrival to the fore

Cousins of graceful love

...the bloodline's proudly cherished

Multitude of rewards in family oneness

...a living vine of bountiful favor

Productive and hearty spirits

...harvesting strong in divine harmony

The creator’s welcomely present

...to guide the dear kindred in abiding devotion

When the Wars have Ceased Poem

Cease war!

Our glorious world of madness and terror
...between losing and deranged factions

Who's really right?
Who's wrong outright?

Every day’s the same confusing song
...someone seeks fame or honour to belong

Crying sadly for the sacrificed lot
Rejoicing tearfully

...for the miserable many who're not

A universe of constant betrayal and fear
...a planet of startling warfare and scare

Spirits of mixed values and treasuredness
...a globe of tragic despair and weariness

Profiteers are meanly joyous and motivated
...suffers are spiritually somber - yet hopeful

A world we've had with all the warring same
...is still the old and wretched bloody game

Living together's firmly an ideal dream
...yet split life drives still the active stream

A world of guaranteed eternal peace
...when the warmongers ceased to finally be

Nicely relaxed and chilled outdoors
...on a glistening sunny day
My old friend dutifully visits

...with a lot in mind to say

Suddenly, the sky turned eerily dark
...the breeze from nowhere starts to spark
Rain out of the clear pours-in
...and windiness boldly joins-in

Again, all's sweetly calm and sunshine
...moving refreshingly through the line
Not for long as cool air blew-in strong
