Radiance of life illuminates once more…

The body’s superior in motion…

And the visions are copasetic

Genuine reasons for more opportunities and calls…

Motivation’s the fuel for the drive

In search of divine purpose - the daily meal…

Heart’s willingly alive

And energy’s percolating perfectly in the grove

No time for sleep when the penetration’s deep…

Results good along the way - ensure an adequate tank

Disappointments are real and poignant…

Their lessons are appreciated by wisdom

Success depends on my resolute part…

I love the feeling of accomplishment

It’s what I long for…

It’s what I aspire to achieve

Each day accompanys renewed inspiration and new challenges…

Hurdles for the experienced runner

The Light of The Sun In The Bahamas

Sun in the morning - sun of the day...

Gladly bathing in soothing pleasure of the early sun...

Mornings of welcomed blessings massage the heart

With satifying mellowness of the soft penetrating heat...

So refreshing and thankfully pleasing

Relaxing regular in the universally divine light....

Contemplating the goodness of the brilliant star

Addictively gratifying ...comforting and nice

Secured in harmony and ideal serenity

Morning sun characterizes the day...

Moving systematically with persistent loyalty

Faithful instigator of living souls...

Influencing life and hope of better ahead

Burning star of the prosperous firmament...

Sparkling diamond of the majestic sky

Island treasure of precious immensity...

Advancing wealth to a people beloved

More potent as the day progresses...

Light island breeze and natural shade compliment

Welcomed illumination of the Godly class...

Energetically performing for the nourishment of all

The Majority Rules

We're now one people under the law
...with the collective power to choose
It has been a long and hard-fought battle
...to where we are autonomously today

The all-out struggle of our forebears
...against injustices and indifference
Produced a people of glorious variety
...to rule our blessed land

We are free to determine our destiny
...the roads of which we choose to travel
Love, peace and prosperity
...or hate, war, corruption and poverty?

The choice's in the soul of the Bahamian people
...for better or for worse
The obstacles of oppression and inequality
...have been optimistically eliminated
Thanks to the unselfish freedom fighters
...our fate is now with us

Majority rule has succeeded
...where do we go from here?
The meaning of the victory in reflection
...something that we must all contemplate

Let's not waste the revolutionary opportunity
...to thrive in love and harmony
Bahamians together for a prosperous nation
...the unborn will celebrate our triumphs
The torch of freedom, justice and rewarding opportunities for all
...burns deep within our caring hearts

Every citizen deserves liberty
...we all have a duty to ensure the same
Let's rule prudently with the vision
...and take lasting care of each other
Let the majority remain the keepers of equity
...and the minority, civil and satisfied

God bless The Bahamas
...where majority rule reigns with love and compassion

Sir Lynden Oscar Pindling Poem

Lynden Oscar Pindling was a great man
He was Prime Minister of a wonderful land

The Bahamas he ruled for 25 years
He became a Knight for his blood, sweat and tears

Sir Lynden brought hope for the black man
..and the white man works with his clan
...to build our envied Bahama land

Sir. Lynden was a giant of a man
...whose politics many withstood
...but his plan they understood

...to develop equally a land
...where blacks and whites have evenhands

Sir. Lynden wasn't a perfect soul
...yet his legacy's one to behold
He loved his country and countrymen
He was a nation-builder, amen!

Lustful Eyes Poem

Sensual sight scans the frolicking scene…

Eyes undesired lustifully yearn for me

The one I love's finely secured

...through all the temptations strong

Egotistical soul insists on still

...my body language disapproves without spill

Conflicting exchanges in the dance

Red eyes long firmly for an undoable chance

Forged heart agressively targets me

...as I'm with my mate - satisfied and free

Bogus lens brazenly emerged determined

...in the genuine presence of utter rejection

Deceptive tears of crocodile proportion

Hopelessly acting without approval

Tender affection's falsely displayed

...shattering fake victim's about to break

Waltzing agreeably with my intended

Groovy lights glitter receptively above

Devilish eyes hopelessly departed

Never to appear imposingly disruptive
