A Tattered Peace

A tattered peace... in the Middle East
An Arab peace summit... as the region plummets
Another suicide bomber... succeeded in his mission
Retaliation is certain... from the Israelis' curtain

...Indeed a perpetual war, where tomorrow becomes more uncertain
No cease-fire... no living together

A situation destined to fuel devastation

World stability at risk...
Resolution - world leaders seek brisk
A war with no end... solutions pretend

A peace that never was...
Hatred cling like a still stone gathering moss
Somewhere, some mothers to be in labor...
Future soldiers wait

Perhaps one day a savior...
To save us all,
Before it's too late...

A tattered peace... a temporary feast
Finding common ground...
Hatred to defeat!

Perseverance Poem

Efforts of purpose resolute and unvarying
Moving along the pathway of outcome
Unremitting to the goal intended
No consideration of straying

Determined through the delays and frustrations
Inspiration divine fuels the course
Stumbling occasionally in decisive pursuit
…on target to success nonetheless

Through the unmerciful storms, and merciless encounters
…a resolute mind in full focus

...and an illumined heart beats purposefully still
Covered grounds conquered with insistence
No way I shall be turning back

Too much to lose is at stake
Surrender is not my forte
In it to the victorious finish - I am
…from the beginning - it was the master plan

Triumph and accomplishment deservingly await
…inside perseverance’s rewarding gate
The elation of the proverbial light
...lndeed worthy of the approving experience

...again and again without a doubt

Another side of life
we all well know
A part of the soul
that doesn't glow

Fright is the fruit...
fear too
Paranoia, oh wow...
mental disorder avows

Excitement about something
…phobia of nothing
The dynamic subconscious
in a part-time bliss

Straying on the delusional side
where paranoia readily abides...
keeping the curious soul alive,
without the synthetic tranquilize

Neurosis for all
occasionally the illusionary call
The old paranoia...
the surreally incidental protocol

Looking out the window Poem

Wisely looking out the window
...life to behold I see
...awesome light arrayed in allurement
...red of resolution for the free
...white of wholeness to boldly be
...you - you rock I see
...but blue's in love for me

Focused stilly out the window
...clear's the restful sky
...calm's the quiet sea
..slow dance the lively trees

Notable Sightings out the window
...wonderful life flourishes in grace

...celebrating the honoured existence and experience
...in the oneness of natures' bountiful gifts

The Only Alien

The only alien around Poem

Attentively observing hasty movers haul by
...on the tireless dualway
Engaged vehicles of varied resonation
...race to dominate the passing day

White, red, blue, black, silver
...tires swooshingly pass in all directions

I am - it seems, the only alien around
...as wheels, feet, drivers and riders woosh busily by

Humans naturally without fail - rushy
Big wheelers, sedans, enormous cranes
...all buzzingly roll to their intended destiny

The sidewalks traffic wakes-up too
Pedestrians again work their suited shoes
It's the mad routine morning rush

...scrambling laborers to the job gush

The normal daily wheels and feet show
Silently I stood - watching low

Gears shifting and fuel flowing
...brakes noticeably absent

...all are indeed ongoing

...thus, I've moved quietly and peacefully above the fray

Branches of applauding trees dance
Shaking leaves freely extol
Birds of admiration fly
...from flourishing tree to tree

The dutiful sun's about to disappear...
The faithful night will soon on time appear
...a blessed day of nourishing sun
...precedes night of cool and respectable fun
...nothing legit to complain about

Sacred water of refreshment surrounds

...an island paradise's peacefully found
Soothingly shady trees

...lots of living breeze
...perfect cover for the sun's squeeze

A little gift of rain today
...the vegetation's on time sprayed
Water refreshing for the ecosystem
...and man's sustenance too

The unsettled is now still
The night's delightfully fulfilled
All's well and good in the family chill
...around the potent bonfire wood

...oneness reigns in cheerful will

...promising queens of the bountiful line

Nieces wholly admired and adored

...structured firmly by virtuous family values

...encouraged to be civilized and upstanding

Women of richly blessed destiny

...exemplary mothers, and matriarchs to be

Nieces, daughters, sisters, friends and leaders

...prepared fittingly for eternity's end

Firm in the ideals of self-respect and wisdom

...majestic young ladies of forever gleeful light

Females illuminate in the creator’s choice

...divine gifts of households believing

Nieces of mothers’ joyful love

...delightful fathers’ prized princesses

Honored girls of noble abode highlighted

...the grand role of niece is theirs to be

Favored title in the dear clan

...esteemed nieces of treasured legacy

Sometimes older than uncle or auntie

...their regal status secured in the tent no less
