The Birds

The Birds Poem

Bird Poem

The birds are quiet now
...perhaps asleep 'til dawn
The birds sing and whistle
...in the quietude of dawn, and all day long

The songbirds are persistent
...they're cheerfully insistent,
and their perky sounds are always recent!

The birds don't always quiet at night
...when they sing, my spirit delights
The bouncy birds of life to me
...day or night shift - their grace is free

Thanks to the lively birds,
I'm as liberated as them
Yes without end
..for their lovely and heavenly hymns!
