Creatures in my backyard Poem
Creatures of day, and night roam my backyard
It's a soulfully happy sight - not sad
Heaven's kind and splendorous offerings
...the butterflies are elegantly fine
...the birds sumptuously dine
...the lizards majestically climb
...the bees sublimely mime
...the wasps delightfully bind
...the ants gracefully realign
...the cats pass shyly from time to time
...the dogs quickly sneak to release their slime
...the snakes say, 'the tasty rodents are mine'
