Poem: My Coffee
The aroma of the morning brew
…fills the room with memorable verve
The appetite longs for a sip
…the usual routine’s animate
Coffee’s the daily companion
…the motivator of a classic day
One nip at a time
…taking pleasure in the accustomed rhyme
An appropriate beverage and a pal
…sets the tune for a wonderful agenda
A few cups of nature’s best
…keeps me longing steadfastly for more
A new study on the mysterious pick-me-up
…pros and cons debate its effects
Drinking on nonetheless
…in moderation and gladness
Randomly through the hours
…a perfect mate and tasteful complement
In the morning, afternoon or night
…my coffee is justly always alright
