The light and the tunnel Poem

I awake to the reality of darkness
...nothing lightworthy to see
Hands stretched-out with assured touch

...peacefully liberated and free

Nothing bright to behold
...or to glisten as gold

Blindly the walk commenced
…aimlessly with illumination the intent

I stumbled along
...arose more strong
Confidently the march maintained

...though light had abandoned poor me
...and darkness roamed in my sight free

To recharge in rest my spirit go
...to refresh in sleep my soul went

My restored eyes alert and focused
...light awsomely rebounds
…a shadowy tunnel of experience's behind
...the graceful sun gloriously shines
