A Poem about Pride Month

Pride month's in every month

...life's perpetually wonderful

Sights on the everlasting jubilation

...believing in a better existence

Moving with purpose delightful

...and comforting anticipation

Joyfully strong in the faith

...satisfied servant of the Most High

Contented times of thanks and praise

...Divine forgiveness for penitent souls

In daily pleasure to acknowledge His Name

...the profitable rewards' in His Law

My liberty's guarded with prudent care

...for eternity with bountiful meaning

Rejecting the abominable pleasures of man

...accepting only the genuine Feast in Holy Company

Rapture forever!

...inexhaustible exaltion in my Lord

Gladness in the unending Light

...warranted by Deliverence!

Tolerantly patient

...through the delays and dissapointments

Firm enchantment of the good life

...in a realm of desired peacefulness

When fair-weather soldiers cry...

...we meekly sigh

Right was momma

...not easy it is

Through it all

...love is everywhere

...so are the good,bad and ugly

Rise forgivingly above chaff and empty talk

...delightful experiences speak truthfully for themselves

Resolute heart of peace

...easy-going spirit

...tolerant against all odds

Joyfully pledged life amid endless wars

...resigned about the things beyond my control

No time for toxic diversions

...faithful tolerance staunchly withstands

Everyday soul of unshaken fondness

...despite unforeseen hurt and pain

No life without death

No healthiness without sickness

No concord without discord

No happiness without sadness

No certainty without confusion

No sweet without bitter

No love without hate

...long-suffering's truly honorable

Restless Souls

Restless Souls Poem

Agitated spirits restlessly uneasy

...in and out, up and down;

...their drill in its unpredictable swing

Over and under, above and below

...their souls on the usual erratic beat go

Between and betwixt don't stop their show

...halt and move like an omnibus

Annoyingly unsettled

...they couldn't care less about what the outside world thinks

They reside contentedly within themselves

...and are driven by an unbalanced state of mind

They do not reason reasonably

...with their always ready-to-go legs

They hop uninvited in your way

...and without sound - the same old same old move along in to the path of another

Moved by unmanagable urges

...a haunted being proceeds busily about

Stillness in short bouts

...a fidgety conscience resists

Something must move;

...head, eyes, ears, tongue, hands, legs, Et al.

Loyally ready

...in a split second of a random command

Writer’s Block

Poem Writer’s Block

 

I have a thought…

But I’m unable to write it out

Expressing it’s so difficult…

And words are so scarce right now

 

I’m thinking about something…

I know that it’s worth sharing

Writer’s block must be my condition…

 

I feel so helpless… and lost

I’m surrounded by motivation…

I feel the energy of excitement

But the words I seek are holding me hostage

 

I’m restless…

I shall forget my frustration for now

And focus on a meaningful task in the interim

 

Take a walk perhaps…

Or simply a short drive

Disregard the ink and paper for a while…

And remember life as it’s before me

 

Temporary conditions are facts of existence…

A dead-end in writing’s no exception

Be prepared for when the fountain flows again…

And record those depictions in wonderful words preponderance

The Winds of Change Poem

 

The winds of change are eternal
Sustaining life internal
As the sun burns brisk in the sky
The winds of eternity are dutifully alive
With the refreshed wind comes new life
And the old and faded, are relieved accordingly
